Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with PCU/Critical Care experience for a 13-week contract opportunity in Lancaster, OH.
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN License.
- Minimum 3 years of PCU/Critical Care experience.
- BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA).
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
Job Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process.
- Monitor and care for patients with progressive and critical care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Monitor patient condition and promptly report any significant changes.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR.
- Implement physician orders and ensure quality, patient-centered care.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to nursing assistants and support staff.
- Ensure patient safety while adhering to hospital policies and best practices.
